What is an All-Inclusive Charter?
An all-inclusive charter means just that — everything you need is included in one set fee. This includes your yacht of choice, your captain, your chef/hostess, gourmet food, beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and many water sports activities that are personalized for you and your guests.
Some destinations may have a few exclusions that could incur an extra charge. In addition, some yachts may charge extra for satellite phone usage, scuba diving/instruction, premium and excessive alcoholic beverages beyond what is onboard the yacht. There is no need to worry though, as your charter specialist will let you know what is and isn’t included.
How Do I Book a Charter?
There are so many companies and individuals offering charters around the world. Some are small “boutique” charter companies and some are large charter yacht companies. Social media or personal references are great to help you find a bareboat charter company, but working with a charter broker who can be unbiased and has first-hand experience and knowledge of what is out there is the best way to go.
Our Charter Specialists have over 15 years of experience booking charters throughout the Caribbean and the USA and because of many satisfied customers, have been able to narrow down and work with the “best of the best” charter companies.
A Few Things That Will Help You in the Process:
- Let us know exactly what you prefer. Because there are so many options out there, we will want to narrow down the field based on the time of year, number of passengers, the type of charter, and where you want to charter.
- Sit back and relax, and let us do the homework and make the recommendations. Pictures you see on the internet are not always up to date. We have access to the latest information on crews and yachts.
- Make a decision and put an Option on it. That way, we can lock it in before someone else charters it first. We will put the option on it and email you a charter agreement.
- Make the Deposit. Typically, you have up to 7 days to make your deposit on your charter vacation. However, sometimes it’s in demand and your option can be challenged. If challenged, you may only have 24 hours to make your deposit or you will have to release the option. Deposits are 50% of the charter fee if deposited less than 1 year from departure. If you book further in advance, a 25% deposit is normally made with the next 25% due 6 months from departure. The final balance is due 60 days in advance.
