Owner Liaison/Fleet Manager
As our owner liaison and fleet manager, you will be based in our corporate office located in Annapolis and will report directly to the president of Waypoints. Your job will be to oversee over 100 owners by managing all day-to-day details of the boats and owner requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have impeccable communication and organization skills as you will be required to manage the owner’s expectations after leaving the factory, to the delivery of the boat to the base, chartering, commissioning, and warranty. We are looking for a self-driven individual with an extensive background in yacht charter and boats to organize documentation, contracts, and all paperwork required for yacht ownership.
Requirements
- Impeccable communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Computer skills in Excel, Word, CRM, and QuickBooks (QuickBooks not essential)
- At least 5 years in yacht charter background with knowledge of boats
- Free to travel between fleet bases
- Self-motivated and driven
- Extremely organized
- Understanding of mechanical, sailing, and operations of a boat

Charter Sales Manager
As a Charter Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling yacht charter vacations to our clients throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean. We are looking for a motivated, flexible, team player with industry knowledge. Your leads will come via telephone and email. You will be responsible for working the lead through its life cycle (customer service follow-up and after-sales support/communications).
Waypoints Yacht Charters has 4 bases (Annapolis, St Petersburg, British Virgin Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands – St Thomas). We are a small but highly functioning team. The only way to ensure success is to work together. We value experience and insights and will be flexible for change if needed. We are a new yacht charter sales company setting the stage for being one of the top charter companies in the world.
Our industry is very seasonal and in the peak months, can be intense, however, we are a team and will work together to provide a work-life balance.
This job does require some weekend work. As stated above, we ask for flexibility from you, but rest assured, we are flexible and will work with you as well.
Requirements
- Education level – bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required)
- Previous experience is a plus in yacht charter sales and/or travel and vacation planning.
- Knowledge of world geography.
- 2+ years of sales/customer service experience.
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal. Presentation skills are a plus.
- Comfortable with MS Office, CRM & online reservations systems.
- Must be available for evening & weekend shifts.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Fluent in speaking/writing Spanish is a huge plus.
Salary
This is a salaried position based on a 40-hour work week, plus a sales incentive.

Charter Administrator
This position requires prior knowledge in the charter industry, all applicants should thrive working in a team environment. We are looking to add to our team an experienced customer service professional with an energetic personality and the ability to focus on details. Looking for someone to be the “center of activity” and be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
This person will be supporting the charter sales team with after-sales support such as answering questions from the charter clients, chasing, and sending paperwork, collecting feedback and reviews. In addition, this person will assist with reviewing statements, entering work orders, preparing, organizing, and sending management contracts, creating, and maintaining a master source of data. These are just some of the various responsibilities for this position. Flexibility and the ability to change is the key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Charter sales support
- Assist existing Owners with Q&A, scheduling, and billing questions
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and review of contracts.
- Explaining details of Business Yacht Ownership processes & procedures to new owners.
- Adding new boats into our charter booking platform and communicating with team updates on arrival.
- Assisting base operations with maintenance tracking in online systems.
