Waypoints Florida Welcomes New Base Manager

We are thrilled to introduce you to the new Waypoints Florida Base Manager Christopher Houpt, a 20-year
industry veteran. Chris will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the base and will be instrumental
in propelling the base even further forward than the previous year.

Chris comes to us with a vast background in base operations. In a short time, we’ve seen a difference due to his remarkable knowledge and drive.

Before joining Waypoints Florida, Chris served as a Base Manager in Annapolis, Maryland. He grew up in Rock Hall, Maryland sailing on the Chesapeake Bay on his family’s boat, and started working in the charter industry as a summer job in high school. Since then, he has been cruising up and down the East Coast to places like the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Chris brings years of professional charter experience to the boating community on the board of local yacht
clubs and as chair of multiple committees. He looks forward to meeting everyone, growing the Waypoints Florida charter base, and providing elevated charter experiences for all clients.
